Njambi wa Njau, a popular presenter at Inooro TV, has bid farewell to the station after securing a new media role in the United States. In a statement released on Wednesday, Njambi announced her departure from the Royal Media Services-owned station, expressing excitement about her upcoming venture abroad.
“My journey at Inooro TV has come to an end, but I’m grateful for the new blessing. To my fans in the diaspora, let’s meet on your screens soon,” she shared.
Although she remained tight-lipped about the specifics of her new job, Njambi expressed enthusiasm for the fresh opportunity. She spoke candidly about the need for personal growth and the importance of embracing new challenges. “Life is about stepping away from what you think you love and exploring new horizons. Sometimes, you have to close chapters that seem comfortable but aren’t truly fulfilling,” she noted.
Now settled in Washington, D.C., Njambi has received a warm welcome and is adjusting to her new surroundings. “The reception here has been wonderful. I’m grateful for how I’ve been embraced, and I feel happy to be in this new phase of life,” she said.
Njambi has had a notable career at Inooro TV, where she made her mark as a news presenter and show host. She originally joined the station in 2016 as a reporter, then briefly left in 2018 for another opportunity, which didn’t pan out as expected. She returned to Inooro in 2020, solidifying her position as one of the station’s most recognized faces.
Beyond journalism, Njambi has a background in acting, having been a part of Liberty Theatre in her early years. She has also previously shared her admiration for media icon Julie Gichuru, who inspired her journey into the industry.
