Kenyan actress and reality star Risper Faith has opened up about her decision to keep her child away from television appearances, despite potentially lucrative offers.
Speaking during an interview, the mother of one, who is set to feature in the new reality series Nai-Rich, revealed that while her husband, Brian, will make a few appearances, their child will not be part of the show.
“No one can pay me any amount of money that would make me put my child on TV,” Risper stated. “You won’t see him on the show. There’s too much pressure there.”
Risper explained that she wants her son to grow up without external pressures, allowing him to make his own decisions about social media when he’s older.
She expressed her desire for her child to enjoy his childhood without the influence of constant online exposure.
The actress, previously known for her role on Nairobi Diaries, also discussed her periodic breaks from social media, revealing that her most recent hiatus followed the loss of her father in November last year.
Nai-Rich, a highly anticipated reality series, premiered at the JW Marriott in Nairobi, drawing some of Kenya’s top celebrities.
